Pondera Park

Located in the Village of Creekside Par, Pondera Park is a thoughtfully designed community space where families can gather, play and relax in a beautiful natural setting. With something for all ages, this park is a true neighborhood favorite.

At the heart of the park is a scenic pond, perfect for a peaceful stroll or a bit of catch-and-release fishing. Benches are placed throughout the area, offering quiet spots to enjoy the view or watch the kids at play.

Children of all ages will love the play equipment, with separate areas designed for both younger and older kids. Belt swings and bucket swings ensure everyone gets in on the fun. Nearby, shaded pavilions and gazebos—along with picnic tables—make this an ideal place for birthday parties, family outings, or casual weekend picnics.

Convenience is built in, with nearby parking and drinking fountains to keep everyone hydrated and comfortable throughout the day.

Park Rules

Township parks are open from dawn until dusk, except for lighted sports fields and courts, which close at 11 p.m. The speed limit is 10 miles per hour in all parks. Please park only in designated areas. Operating a motor vehicle within a park except on roads and parking lots is prohibited. The following are prohibited in The Woodlands Township parks and facilities:

  • Glass containers

  • Vandalism

  • Removal or destruction of vegetation

  • Fires (except in barbecue grills)

  • Littering and dumping

  • Disorderly conduct

  • Excessive noise

  • Swimming in lakes or ponds

  • Vehicles left overnight

  • Horseback riding

  • Fireworks

  • Soliciting funds or donations

  • Guns or weapons

  • Distributing circulars

  • Selling goods and services
