May is National Bike Month and The Woodlands Township proudly recognizes this annual celebration with a wide range of activities that promote bicycling as a healthy, safe, and enjoyable way to travel and recreate. With support from the Bike The Woodlands Coalition, Bike Month in The Woodlands features a variety of events and programs designed for all ages and skill levels, from beginners to experienced riders.

Throughout the month, residents are encouraged to explore the extensive pathway system, participate in educational opportunities, and learn more about bicycle safety and etiquette. Activities may include group rides, safety demonstrations, youth focused programs, and community outreach efforts that highlight the importance of sharing the path and following traffic laws.

Bike Month also serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about the benefits of bicycling, including improved health, reduced environmental impact, and stronger community connections. By bringing together residents, partner organizations, and local advocates, Bike Month reinforces The Woodlands commitment to active transportation and a high quality of life.

Whether you ride for recreation, fitness, or transportation, Bike Month offers opportunities to get involved, build confidence on the bike, and enjoy the community in a new way. Residents of all ages are encouraged to participate, learn, and celebrate cycling throughout the month of May.
