Veterans Day Tribute
Held annually on November 11 from 4 to 5 p.m. at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogan’s Mill Road, the Veterans Day Tribute honors the service and sacrifice of all United States military veterans. Hosted in partnership with The Woodlands Fire Department, this patriotic ceremony is held inside the fire station apparatus bay and invites the community to come together in gratitude and recognition.
The ceremony features a formal presentation of colors, musical performances, and remarks from local dignitaries, creating a respectful and meaningful tribute to those who have served. A Village troop donation challenge is also included, along with light refreshments for attendees.
A care package drop off area is available onsite, offering the community an opportunity to support deployed service members. Donations of recommended items such as snacks, toiletries, travel sized hygiene products, socks, and handwritten notes are collected and shipped to troops stationed overseas. Community members are encouraged to participate by contributing a small item that helps bring comfort and appreciation to those serving our nation.
