Parks Needs Assessment

The Parks Needs Assessment helps guide future planning and improvements by evaluating the current use, condition, and accessibility of parks and amenities across The Woodlands. This ongoing process relies on data, community input, and industry standards to ensure park spaces continue to serve residents of all ages and abilities.

Integrated Forestry Plan

The Integrated Forestry Plan is a comprehensive approach to managing and preserving the natural forested areas of The Woodlands. It outlines best practices for monitoring tree health, addressing environmental threats, supporting biodiversity, and maintaining the community’s unique balance between development and nature.


Lake & Pond Management Plan

The Pond and Lake Management Plan guides the care of The Woodlands extensive system of ponds and lakes that support recreation, aesthetics, stormwater management, and ecological health. The plan combines inspections, maintenance evaluations, and long term recommendations to protect water quality, enhance habitat, and preserve these valuable resources for future generations.
