Labor Day Festival

Celebrate the end of summer with a fun-filled evening at Waterway Square (31 Waterway Square Place) on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. Enjoy live music, children’s activities, face painting and balloon art, strolling entertainment, pie eating contests and a fireworks finale to cap off the night.

Event Schedule

5 p.m.  Live Music by Shake Down Band HTX (Variety)

6 p.m.  Youth Pie Eating Contest**

7 p.m.  Adult Pie Eating Contest**

8:55 p.m.  FIREWORKS*

*Time approximate and weather permitting.
**Registration for the Pie Eating Contests will be onsite beginning at 5 p.m. Spots are limited and fill up quickly!

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, coolers, and picnic baskets for a relaxing evening outdoors (please note: glass is prohibited). A beverage booth will be on site, and guests are encouraged to support local restaurants before or after the event.

Parking Information

Paid covered parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (located at corner of Fountains Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountains Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the surface parking lot along the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place. Limited covered parking is available in the Town Center Parking Garage (2005 Lake Robbins Drive).
