Lakeside Park

Lakeside Park is a spacious 14-acre community hub offering a wide variety of amenities for visitors of all ages. The park features a refreshing community swimming pool with lap lanes and a baby pool for younger swimmers. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy tennis and basketball on the park’s lighted courts or participate in games on the fields. Children will love the playgrounds equipped with play structures suitable for both younger and older kids, including bucket swings and belt swings.

For those who enjoy outdoor meals and gatherings, the park provides shaded pavilions and picnic tables with convenient BBQ pits. Nature lovers can take advantage of the nearby Bear Branch Reservoir for fishing or explore over a mile of interconnected trails perfect for walking, jogging and biking. Lakeside Park also includes a designated skate and bike park, providing a safe area for wheeled sports. Modern restroom facilities and accessibility features ensure comfort and convenience for visitors.

 

Park Rules

Township parks are open from dawn until dusk, except for lighted sports fields and courts, which close at 11 p.m. The speed limit is 10 miles per hour in all parks. Please park only in designated areas. Operating a motor vehicle within a park except on roads and parking lots is prohibited. The following are prohibited in The Woodlands Township parks and facilities:

  • Glass containers

  • Vandalism

  • Removal or destruction of vegetation

  • Fires (except in barbecue grills)

  • Littering and dumping

  • Disorderly conduct

  • Excessive noise

  • Swimming in lakes or ponds

  • Vehicles left overnight

  • Horseback riding

  • Fireworks

  • Soliciting funds or donations

  • Guns or weapons

  • Distributing circulars

  • Selling goods and services
